AREAS OF INTEREST

The Cora Foundation’s mission is to support Christian based ministries that serve the spiritual, educational, and physical needs of people helping them come to know the love of Christ and live a dedicated Christian life.

    The Cora Foundation is a private family foundation established in 1997 as a non-profit corporation. The foundation was founded to provide financial assistance, within the limits of its budget and the discretion of its Directors, to Christian based organizations within the United States and its possessions which are tax-exempt under Section 501(3)(c) of the IRS Code and are not private foundations within the meaning of Section 509(a) of the 1969 Tax Reform Act. The foundation has no paid staff. Foundation administration is handled by family members who volunteer their time to review grant requests and award grants.


DONATION APPLICATION PROCESS

The foundation accepts unsolicited grant requests. Both new and existing programs meeting the mission, vision and current program areas of the foundation will be considered for grant awards.


Applicants will complete an online Letter of Inquiry that includes responses to the following: 

1.  A short, description name for the project.

2.  The amount of funding you are requesting from the Cora Foundation.
